Glastonbury, 21-25 June
This one doesn’t need much introduction – it’s Glastonbury! With the full 2017 festival line-up just announced, this year’s event is set to feature an eclectic array of stars including Foo Fighters, Ed Sheeran and The Jacksons. Highlights will also include Status Quo on the Acoustic stage and The Pretenders on the Other stage. Unfortunately for punters hoping for last-minute tickets, Glastonbury 2017 is completely sold out; our advice is to try again for 2018.
Camp Bestival, Dorset, 27-30 July
With a breath-taking location in the grounds of Lulworth Castle on the Dorset coast, Camp Bestival is a family-friendly affair that offers a fantastic line-up for kids and adults alike. While babies, toddlers and older kids enjoy the dedicated entertainment laid on in the extensive kids’ areas, adults can indulge their senses with music, comedy, food, drink and even some relaxing massage and reflexology. Headliners include Madness, Brian Wilson and All Saints. Camp Bestival tickets are available now.
Meraki Festival, St Albans, 11-13 August
For those of you looking for something a little more local, the Meraki Festival might just tick all the right boxes. Based at the Hertfordshire County Showground in St Albans, this varied and activity-packed festival has a great line-up with stars including Tony Hadley, Belinda Carlisle and Sophie Ellis-Bextor. But at Meraki it’s not all about the music; there are myriad of other attractions including a family field, swimming pool, cinema, theatre and much, much more. Why look further when this event can rival the other 2017 summer festivals? Tickets for the Meraki Festival are still available so snap yours up while you can!
Festival Number 6, Portmeirion, 7-10 September
There’s a village vibe to this unique and eclectic young festival, based in a picturesque setting in North Wales. Surrounded by woodland and at the edge of an estuary, festival goers will enjoy sets from artists including Kate Tempest, Jarvis Cocker and Laura Mvula, all while soaking up the natural beauty of this incredible location. It’s off the beaten track but it’s well worth making the journey for. Get your Festival Number 6 tickets here.
