Brief: Provide green screen and roaming photography services in the build-up to the games.

Shoot Systems provided a range of Event Photo Marketing solutions for LOCOG in the four year run-up to the London 2012 Olympic Games.


These solutions were used around the country to promote the various sports and to raise awareness utilising green screen technology and roaming photography. Photo Marketing opportunities included guests holding the Olympic torch, standing with the mascots and posing with current British athletes and local community/guests receiving a special piece of Olympic memorabilia.


A Souvenir for Every Visitor


  • Shoot Systems were onsite at the opening of all the key venues and high volumes of prints were produced to match the demand of visitors, ensuring everyone went home with a souvenir
  • A secure receipt with an eight digit ID directed customers to a London 2012 website, where they could also download and share their photos
  • With scale for this experience being of the utmost importance, each event averaged over 800 prints
