Last Night a DJ Saved My Life

What do photo booths and water wells have in common? The answer lies in a fantastic project we’re proud to be involved in, raising funds for development charity Last Night a DJ Saved My Life. This unique charitable foundation connects the world of dance music with fundraising initiatives, helping clubs and DJs to support projects helping children in developing countries. We wanted to tell you more about how we at Shoot Systems are getting involved.

Putting the fun back into fundraising

LNADJ 2If you’re local to Brighton, you’ll have heard of a club called The Arch. A legendary dance music destination, it’s played host to established DJs including Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox, as well as supporting up-and-coming talent. People come from all over the South Coast to dance and enjoy the music at this hugely popular dance music institution, which has played host to dance nights and events for several decades.

The next time you enjoy a night out at this seafront venue, check out our Shoot Systems nightclub photo booth. You and your mates can remember the night with the perfect picture, while £1 from every photo taken in this booth goes straight to Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, helping to fund projects like Have a Drink On Us, which aims to provide clean water for all. We’re currently generating over £200 per month for the charity in this way, and we want to spread the word to encourage even more people to get snap happy in our charity booth.

How photo booths can generate income

Nightclub photo booths are a win-win way to make money in any club or venue. A self-service feature, there’s no need to dedicate any staff time to their upkeep – just put them in and let your guests go wild! Customers benefit from a cashless system that’s easy to use, with the option of a green screen background to help create something a little bit different to help them remember what a great night they’ve had. Venues can take the opportunity to add their branding to every image. And of course, the income generated can be put to good use.

About the LNADJ Charity

LNADJ charity boothLast Night a DJ Saved My Life was founded in 2010 by DJ and promoter Jonny Lee, aiming to take a different approach to charitable fundraising. Building a bridge between the dance music community and charitable projects in need of support, LNADJ provides unique opportunities for clubs and DJs to use their influence for the greater good. Partnering with a variety of organisations that work to support children all over the globe, it raises money through club nights and events, with venues and DJs donating their time and space for free.

Dan at Shoot Systems, said: “It is a pleasure to be back working with the LNADJ Charity. We worked very closely with them in the past, using our camera systems to help raise money for the charity in Ibiza. What these guys do to help people is amazing, and it feels good knowing that the money we help them raise all goes to a brilliant cause.”
